We worked on optimizing and technically improving a mobile app for real-time networking. The main concept of the product is to connect users who are physically in the same location (a venue, coworking space, or gym). 🛠️ Our contribution to the project (Tasks and solutions): Geofencing optimization: We configured and optimized geolocation functionality to accurately determine a user’s presence within a specific location while minimizing battery drain. UI/UX Refactoring and Improvements: We refined the internal logic of the interface to quickly display users “here and now.” Status and Loyalty Modules: We implemented a system of temporary statuses for meetings and assisted with the implementation of a partner promo code system. Technical refactoring: We improved the app’s stability and the processing of geolocation requests. 💻 Project tech stack: Frontend: Flutter (Dart) — cross-platform development for iOS and Android. Backend: Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth, Cloud Messaging). Geolocation: Geofencing, CoreLocation API, Google Maps SDK.
